On 10th Nov a msg came on my number saying that I have activated movie subscription on my number 8863851713. I knew this was a mistake by company's side. BCoz many times it happened to us on other numbers where we used to call customer care and they accepted their mistake and used to refund our amount. So as usual I tried the same with this telenor number. But when I tried calling on the number(155223) which was given for deactivation every time after a wish call got disconnected. I tried more than 20 times that day. Same thing happened every time. After 5 days again this so called useless facility got renewed after deducting 5 rs. This continued for 4 times. Than I tried contacting on 198. Their again twice call got disconnected on service disconnection menu. So I went through another menu of recharging option where I was able to talk to customer care. But to my shock he blamed me for activation of this service. I tried to convince him but every time he continued repetition of same line that "service will be deactivated but we r unable to refund your amount as you have activated it". Than I tried complaining through mailing on [email protected] there also I got the same response.
15-20 rs doesn't matter for most of us. But I just want answer for 2 questions
1- which sensible person in today's era of smartphones will actually activate this type of subscription?
2- till when this type of foreign company will keep on making profit through mis-selling of products to customers?
Is there anyone from telenor who can just answer this 2 questions of mine.
